Kimberly Martin

Our purpose is the training of trainers to do and teach natural farming as they go on mission opportunities so that they can meet a ‘felt need’ (hunger) as they also meet a spiritual need (forgiveness and eternal life). Natural farming uses locally available products to make homemade soil inputs (fertilizers) to help produce healthy plants that become healthful food. My role is to grow food for people and poultry. Last year we sent teams to Nepal after the devastating 2015 earthquake. There was a University of the Nations Science and Technology team who went to an orphanage in Nepal and installed a garden and aquaponic system (fishery/hydroponic herbs synergistic system) and the children were so interested that they were learning alongside the staff of the orphanage and now they are doing their food production as a team or “family” themselves.
